Introduction to Advanced BBQ Techniques #2 – March 25 2023


This hands on BBQ class is not an add on to #1, this is a stand alone BBQ class.  You do not have to have taken class #1 in order to take class number #2, we just call it number 2 so that you know which meats we teach!  In this class you get to get your hands dirty (don’t worry, we will provide you with gloves and all the tools you need).  This class teaches you the fundamentals of prepping and cooking pork shoulders from beginning to end.  You will learn how to make melt in your mouth money muscle, and the best pulled pork you’ve ever had.  We also cover Pork Tenderloins, Chicken Thighs and Tritip.

At the end of the class, every student gets a pork shoulder to take home to try out all the things they learned on their own smoker.  Our classes are licensed to serve a couple of adult beverages to anyone over the age of 18, price is included with your admission, you will also get the chance to eat everything that we prepare, so people do often come hungry and leave with the meat sweats. Since 2016 our competition BBQ team has been throwing down on the Alberta cup BBQ circuit as well as taking on top pitmasters from across the United States and at the World BBQ Championships.  Our classes are an affordable way to get more out of your BBQ, make your neighbours jealous and have a darn good time doing it. In this class you will learn how to elevate your BBQ skills with tips and tricks from seasoned pitmasters.
