Stinger Sweet and Spicy Baked Beans

Stinger Sweet and Spicy Baked Beans

I love baked beans. It's a great and satisfying side when you're out camping or bbqing some hot dogs. For years, I've made my own baked beans, usually with a slow cooker or in the oven, but cooking them on my grill has brought them up a notch into a truely amazing dish. This recipe simplifies many of the steps involved to get the flavour without the effort.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your grill to 300 degrees
  • Mix all ingredients in the mixing bowl.
  • Pour the mixture in the Aluminum Tray

Get it on the Smoker

  • Cook uncovered for an hour to get that smoky flavour in the beans. Stir after 30 minutes and 60.
  • Cover the beans with the tin foil and cook for another 2 hours

Check it

  • Open the mixture and see if the liquid is being absorbed. This can take another hour or more depending on how you want your beans finished.

Serve your beans

  • Beans are great because you can serve them right away or put them in the fridge. They will absorb more of the liquid over time and in my opinion are better the next day!

Step By Step

  • Preheat your grill to 300 degrees
  • Mix all ingredients and pour into your tray
  • Smoke uncovered for an hour, stir twice
  • Bake for another 2 hours, or to taste
  • Eat!
