Hardcore Carnivore Black is a gluten-free, MSG-free rub that goes great with steaks and other meats. Black has all of the conventional spices and seasonings to elevate your steaks and meats to new heights, with the addition of one unusual ingredient: charcoal!
Not only will black enhance the flavour of your dish, but it will also improve its look. For starters, it makes an excellent basis for forming a crust, especially when grilled. Second, because the product darkens the outside of the meat before cooking, you won’t be tempted to overcook it simply to have a nice outside colour – it’ll be halfway there before you even start cooking. Yes, the charcoal is very safe to use. This is not the same charcoal as the kind you use in your barbecue! Food-grade activated charcoal derived from coconut husks is used in Hardcore Carnivore: Black.
