I love a good holiday turkey, but I think the sides are the real star. Traditional sides like stuffing, scalloped potatoes, mashed potatoes, garlic bread, yams, turnips, Brussel sprouts are all classics, but if you are looking for a new instant classic then consider a corn souffle. Do not be intimidated by the name, most of the work comes out of a can. This is a super easy recipe that is ready fast with very little prep and will change the face of your holidays meals and possibly even outshine the turkey!

Families often gather for the traditional Thanksgiving Turkey or Christmas Turkey every years at least a couple of times (don’t forget Easter!!!). It’s a large enough animal that you can feed anywhere from 4 people with a Turkey Breast upto 30 people with a larger bird. Most people account for about 1lb per person of uncooked bird weight, so a 15 lb turkey would feed around 15 people.

This Chili is sometimes called “Over the top chili” but I like calling it underneath Chili because the focus here is this Chili, not the giant meat ball that is over the top. They will work together to become an amazing pot of some of the best, smokiest, crispy meaty chilis you’ve ever had. So whether you call it underneath or over the top, get your taste buds ready for a savoury explosion of flavour. Special thanks to my friend Perry for introducing me to this recipe and providing the photograph!

Salmon is one of the best tasting fish to ever hit a BBQ. Lots of people love putting it on a cedar plank and cooking it slow on the BBQ. I honestly don’t find that the plank does anything special, which is why I use a foil tray to cook my salmon. This Salmon was the best salmon I ever had and the best part is I thought I ruined it when I pulled it off the barbecue. Read on to find out how I did it and why it was so delicious.
